Who we are

What we collect
- When you book: your name, e-mail address, mobile number, any notes you add, your dates, number of guests and the extras you choose.
- When you message us: your name, e-mail address, mobile number if you give it, your message and the IP address it was sent from (to stop abuse).
- Payment: card payments are handled by our payment provider, Kashier, on their own secure page. We never see or store your card number. We receive the payment result and Kashier's reference for it.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your data.
How we use it
- To take and confirm your booking, take payment and process any refund.
- To send you booking e-mails, such as your confirmation and arrival details before check-in.
- To answer your messages.
- To keep the accounting and tax records Egyptian law requires.
Who we share it with
- Kashier, to process your payment and refunds.
- Our e-mail provider, to deliver the e-mails above.
- The owner of a partner lodge, if you book one of the homes we manage for its owner: only what they need to host you.
- Booking calendars such as Airbnb and Booking.com see that dates are taken, with a booking reference — never your name or contact details.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
The Serenity app
The app saves your booking references and the e-mail you booked with on your phone, in its secure storage, so it can show your trips. Nothing else is stored on your device, and removing a trip or deleting the app removes it. The app does not track your location and does not use advertising identifiers. It has no user accounts.
This website
The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser. It sets no tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Egyptian accounting and tax law requires. Messages are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it. E-mail info@serenity.eg and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
