About this place

Step through the wrought-iron gates of Blue Hole Plaza Compound to a home with real Dahab character: its own front door and thatched palm-frond porch with two wooden chairs for morning coffee, arched windows, splashes of orange, green and blue, and patterned tiles throughout. The bright living room has a low cushioned sofa, air conditioning and a TV corner, with arched iron doors that open straight onto the garden courtyard. The open-shelf kitchen has a fridge, hob and breakfast counter for cooking your own meals. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and a wooden wardrobe, and the bathroom has a tiled shower and a washing machine. The compound sits in the quiet neighbourhood of Mashraba, close to the Laguna and the beach walkway, and a 15-minute walk from the shopping district, with banks, a supermarket, a laundry and a medical centre all within about 3 minutes' walk.
